Why safety officers are over loaded in India and why 90% of those candidates goes jobless or work for poor salaries? The first answer is the lack of quality. We want quality not quantity. I will explain the main reason behind this. 90% safety students in India are not properly educated. Many don’t have any graduation and some of them are not even passed 12th grade. Then they straight come into do a 1 year safety diploma. Safety institutions are giving this diploma with a 15 or 30 day class. So basically it’s just a 1 month course and the certificate come with 1 year. You dont need any skill to pass this exam. Even if you write pure wrong answers they still give you pass mark because these are evaluating by the institutions itself. The institutions want business so they give pass mark to all students.
